Art of smiling.......:)

A smiling face is among one of our personal assets....
Its physical value is seen when a perfectly plain face becomes attractive when it is lit up with a radiant smile....

Smile is a language of love.... It spreads a warmth and joyful feeling....

Smiling is of great value-both mentally and physically.. It shows a mental attitude of hopefulness. It purifies the thinking process.

Smiling awakens friendly feelings in people. It prepares the ground for healthy relationships...Smile can conquer minds...

hihihiihihiih

There may be certain mental tension in the meeting of 2 individuals.
A smile helps to remove this tension. The man who smiles eases his way into the relationship. We will always be happy to see the person who smiles at us.
And may be that one can relieve us in many situations.

A smile can rich our own lives and the lives of others whom we come into contact. A smiling face conveys a lot. It is the most natural way of showing friendliness.
A pleasent smile is always nice to see. A smile breaks the hardest attitudes...

A smile is precious...Its nice and happy to see a person who smiles at us that one who is plain. A person who smiles at all will be loved by them....

A smile is of no cost, but it has a great value in our life. Giving away a smile loses nothing from us...it will only adds beauty to our and others life......

So smile always....Enlight your life........ Be attractive.......:)) Make your life beautiful....................:)))

PERFUMES- The first love of teens.......

Now a days its really hard to find a guy without a perfume in his wardrobe.. Perfumes are an important part of today's life. Even though its use is not common among some class of people, there is no one who is not attracted by the perfumes.. We are very much interested in using perfumes..

There are many varieties of perfumes available today which are only for

women..

But have you ever gone deep thru this???

Have you ever thought that why we are attracted by perfumes???
Its strange na....
I think there is no one who dislikes the fragrance of perfumes....
The fragrance itself takes us to another world....!

What made me write on this is,actually.... one morning,to be accurate, yesterday, i was getting ready to go to college, and of course, i took my perfume and i just had a thought of writing something on this..as it has become an important part of my life. i just want to share some ideas that i have in my small bundle of knowledge...... Actually, i was very crazy about perfumes and was anxious to know whatever i can about this topic and that made me collecting something about this..

No one knows that when men started using perfumes....Still one thing is sure. The perfumes have attracted men at all times.
Actually Egyptians started this way of using perfumes to add to their own beauty.
We have a lot of things in our nature like tulsi, cinnamon, camphor, almond and the other spices etc that adds fragrance to our life.
We are using spices even in our dishes too....
The pleasent smell of perfumes has a great effect in changing our mood.......
We wont be happy if we are in market or in a place where there is a bad smell...That even makes us irritated even if we are in a good mood.....
On the other hand, even if we are out of mood, a nice and pleasent smell can reduce our tension and give us a mental happiness.....
This is made use in "Aromatherapy".....

We may think that there are a thousand types of perfumes. But the fact is that there are only 11 types of perfumes!!!!. The name of each one depends on the smell characteristics of each.

Floral, Aldehydic, Oriental, Chypre, Green, Citrus, Musk, Animal, Leather, Fougere, Woody are those. All the perfumes available today belong to any of this type.
We can also find perfumes in so many things that we use daily.. They include soap, paste, lipsticks, mouth wash, shampoo etc.
Nature itself is making us feel good by adding beauty and fragrance to our life............
Eau di cologne is called as the 'King of fragrance'. Actually Eau di cologne and perfume are not same.
One interesting thing about Eau di cologne is that it was the favourite one of Napolean. He believed that it gave him confidence.!!! He used to keep cologne with him even during the battles!!!
There is a story about his love for cologne. Once he was defeated in a battle and he was in St.Helina islands. That time, the cologne with him got over. He was so sad. And on his order, his servant made cologne from plants in that islands!!!!...
Also the first perfume producing factory was started in France during Napolean.
I think many of us feel confident if we are in the hands of perfume....
Even i feel something odd if i forget to 'bath' in perfume!!!.....

POISON- This is the name of a famous perfume. I was actually wondered when i heard the name for the first time...There are a lot of perfumes having this kind of interesting names. These kind of names will definitely attract the people....

'The Engineers of nature', BEAVER , is a good producer of pleasent smell.
Despite all, the perfumes have its own importance in today's world. It can attract people at all times.....As time goes, the fame and use of perfumes will go on increasing...................And of course, we, teenagers are always attracted by it................................

On Indian Women

The other day an actress turned politician opined that Indian women always remain inside the four walls of the kitchen and go on producing children. Well, there may be at least an element of truth in that, but comparing Indian women with those of the west is rather illogical. Indian women are a breed by themselves.
Judging an Indian women’s worth is not at all that easy. They are born with many clips clipped on to their wings. That they are born as women into underprivileged socioeconomic conditions into patriarch, hypocritic closed societies is the first challenge that they face. She just silently suffers the limits put on to her creativity and freedom. It’s not a matter of her choice at any stage of her life. Low standards of living coupled with poor nutrition and sanitation render her and her children’s life unhealthy. Great are the indignities showered on her all the while. She just strives along with the minimum of resources at her disposal.
But all this has carved out an inner beauty in most of our women. That even among these odds her glory continues that the strength to fight and suffer and endure still remains.
What can an actress who lives in the lap of comfort know anything about the hardcore and often harsh truths and realities prevalent in the society?
Life is not all about designer clothes and makeup, not parties and romps but something more.
Other than all these there is a great gift from God –the mind and a beautiful mind shaped by struggles, hardships and triumphs reflects itself-and that is inner beauty which no perm or roosh can match.
Women should be given a chance to think, feel and decide for themselves.
As Swami Vivekananda said,” who are you to decide for them? Let them solve their problems by themselves. Indian women may appear to be weak, docile and incompetent but it takes some real beauty to recognize beauty. Only a true gem knows the value of another one .It is easy to label someone or something but not at all that easy to try to feel understand and recognize true value and worth.

Krishna

What’s shining so bright?
The stars or your eyes?
When I see me in your eyes,
So near, yet so far!

Upon the stars in the sky,
When the moonlight dances in a trance,
Will you O moonlight and stars,
Sketch the name of my love upon the star studded sky?

Venus smiles down on earth
And weaves a garland round the earth.
My heart weaves a garland,
Round my love’s tender rose,
The garland tightens,
And draws his heart even closer
And lo behold!
There’s just a single big tender rose
With shining soft dewdrops of love.
The rose flutters,

The leaves tremble
And down the rose
There’s a rain of soft dewdrops
Let me dip and wet myself in it.
Again, again and again,
Till the cup fills up to the brim and wets my eyes, face and hair
Let me drown, drown and drown.

The garland falls around his lovely, graceful neck
And falls softly upon his ebony chest
A soft ready smile on his tender lips
As tender as the dew in my rose.
He himself is the Krishna
With his graceful eyes
And radiant smile
And his mighty heart playing the flute,
He preaches the gospel and teaches me
O my love mesmerizes me
And drives me closer and closer to him
And in his firm embrace
In a trance forever…

My love, we have our hearts and hands joined together.
Eternity showers its blessings upon us
And awaits us
As I garland you.

A SACRED DUTY

Friends, Bloggers, Netizens,

Arise and awake to wage the crusade in front of you!

Did you read in ’ The Hindu’ an article on the misuse and trapdoors in the Internet? Don’t you think that all of us should increase our awareness on Internet security?

The author of the article lashes out against social networking sites like orkut, friendster etc with allegations that they make teens live in a virtual world and thus leads to lifestyle disorders and perpetuates crimes like cyber stalking etc, in addition to their huge explicit content. She points out that the recent survey by ‘Computing Which? has found that nearly 1 in every 3 children is being exposed to unwanted sexual material on the net. She argues that teens are particularly vulnerable on the net.

We know that young minds need to be protected. T hey should not be exposed to anything that could damage their mental make up.

As all are aware in a new age world access to wider circles and information can render positive impacts. We live in a global village and today technology has taken us to higher realms.

Should we just let go of all these positive aspects just because some predators are out on the loose?

This world is becoming increasingly insecure and unsafe for children.

You know that world over children go missing, and are abused, even by relatives to produce porn on net. Don’t you think that this is a grave situation?

A happy, well-balanced, vibrant mind makes children use their potentials to the maximum, which is beneficial both to the child and the nation.

Children are the nation’s future. If you mutilate their minds what has the nation got to hope for? For minds produce energy and energy leads to work.

So you see how important it is to keep the children happy and secure in mind. Let them grow, learn, and explore the world on their own.

We need young minds vibrant with ideas and energy for the future of the nation. We should create secure, safe environments for their happy, healthy growth.

The problem may sound to be too large and complex as to find an effective solution, as you know there is no one to monitor the net and there is no one to guide you there.

However complex things might appear to be, there would always be a possibility of finding out a solution, which can at the least partly address it.

Let us wage a crusade of ideas and actions to protect innocence, to protect young minds and to save the future of our nations.

It may sound as if I’m exaggerating the situation, but I believe that this is a problem looming in the horizons, which has the potential to damage the social fabric of nations, and the lives of people if it happens to land upon us.

What can we possibly do to prevent crimes and pornography on the net?

Why can’t we do something to reinstate trust, which is absolutely essential for any enterprise?

Why can’t we make the world a better, safer place for the young minds?

It’s not like we should paint a rosy picture in their minds, about a world, which is not at all that, rosy, and thus create illusions in their minds, but it isn’t necessary that we give them rude shocks so as to understand the goings and ways of the world.

Let us do something.

Please lend your thoughts on this subject so that united we can do something for a better tomorrow, for a better world.

It is our sacred duty for the future of our nations, towards the children to whom God has lent his innocence, and for the generations yet to come.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.Wednesday,Apr 4 2007, 11:00:25 AM(Last updated: Thursday,Apr 5 2007, 08:28:22 PM)
Recently, there had been much uproar over the entry of a woman into the Holy Shastha temple at sabarimala and a lot of blame game went on as to who was actually responsible for the ‘mishap’. For ages, young women have been denied entry to the Shastha temple at Sabarimala. There is a wonderful story behind the establishment of the temple and the ‘Ayyappa’ who resides there is a Brahma Chari Now, who is a Brahmachari?
In India,’Brahmacharyam’is one of the four stages of life. One avoids all thoughts of lust and greed and during this period his mental horizon widens. He has true love for all the beings on earth and has a sense of disattachment towards everything prevails in his mind.
India is a blessed land which has given birth to Brahmacharis like SriRamakrishnaparamahamsa, Swami Vivekananda etc. SriRamakrishnaParamahamsan saw GoddesssShakti-theMother Herself in every woman. He saw the Mother in the pariah woman, the Brahmin woman, in a young girl, and even in the whores of Kolkatta. It is incomprehensible that a Brahmachari should whine and weep if a woman touched him-unless he saw her just as a woman -her skin and flesh and that, his mental horizons weren’t wide enough to see the Mother Herself the divinity in her who had come to him with tears and her bundle of troubles and worries.
Hinduism is a unique religion. You can’t point out a single person as the founder of this religion.Hinduism just refers to the way of life that people in India once led.
Hinduism has certain unique principles like -’Tatvamasi’ .It means that ‘You are the supreme’-The God Himself. The Parabrahma or the Greater soul fills up this universe. The human soul is like an extract from this Greater soul. This Atman, which prevails in every body, is pure of all evils and is sexless. So that ends up all the differences between the sexes, and the notion that there is an advantage in being a man and a certain disadvantage in being a woman. And it is greatly unfortunate that such a high level of discrimination of sexes should exist in a country like India, where such magnificent theories had been in the run for ages.
As Swami Vivekananda proclaimed in his ‘Address at the World’s Parliament of Religions’, this religion has taught the world tolerance and universal acceptance. But over ages, this religion has fell into the hands of priests who have degraded this great religion into mere shopkeeping, and bundled it up into a set of rituals and customs. They have turned this wide religion into a watertight compartment. They try to sell everything –even moksha, and they themselves forget the ideals of this ages old religion.
Ideal Brahminhood is long lost in India. Hinduism must free itself from the tight grips of the priests who fatten upon the fears and ignorance of the masses. Hinduism has the concept of a Loving God and it abhors fear. God is a servant at the feet of His Bhakta-this is the Hindu ideal;of the love of God.
There isn’t a thing like public worship in India. Hinduism urges people to worship their ‘Ishta’ in their own environs. It is the same Omnipresent Brahman that manifests itself in each individual. Only the external garb -the body varies. It isn’t really God’s wish or intention that women should not be allowed into the temple. It was a carefully designed rule put in by some clever, cunning person, adding holy stories around it, thus enwrapping the entire thing in a mystic cover so that few would dare break it or even think in the contrary.
It is high time that we stopped this distorted version of Hinduism circulating among the masses today, undermining the morale of a large section of our society. Let’s bring back the true concept of this ages old great religion, which has contributed much to the world, rather than breaking each other’s heads over baseless issues, which even the God Himself, might not matter. Let’s do away with uncaring, narrow-minded shop keeping and the orthodox sexist views, which adulterates our religion.

DO GIRLS HAVE TO LOOK LIKE PLAYBOY BUNNIES?

The other day my 3-year-old cousin paid me a visit. We met after a long time and she had a lot of questions to ask me.
My! We really talked and played a lot. She was full of questions on everything, the things on the showcase, the books, she even told me a few stories.
Later that day when I got a break, I put the TV on and I saw a movie. The movie wasn’t worth a penny but it was a hit in Kerala at the time it was released. The heroine aged at around 18 is a very docile young woman. She is very frightened, unsure and doesn’t question anything at all.
It left me thinking. I compared my 3-year-old cousin with that 18-year-old character in the movie.
My cousin is active, is inquisitive, laughs aloud and in total she is full of character.
Will she grow up to be like that 18-year-old passive girl? You feel like shaking her up and breathing some life into her.
That 18-year-old girl has lost her soul in the process of growing up. Is this case something applicable just to her or is this something in general?
I think it is general. Most of the girls are so. They learn to suppress themselves, they learn to accept and obey.
There are certain stereotypes for women. Just turn the T.V on and have a look at the ads and the songs.
No matter what the women is, a doctor, teacher, journalist or a housewife she has to look like a playboy bunny. However sure and stern she is at last she has to plop into the hands of man, like a blob of jelly.
The male lead in the songs would be fully dressed sometimes even with a coat on, whereas the woman would be clothed in the barest minimum.
Sometimes it seems as if it is an all boy’s world. Movies with all the modern racing cars, guns and violence and women clothed barely exposing their bodies.
As a young girl grows up these images keep on beaming onto her. You have to be beautiful, you have to be appealing.
They may talk about becoming doctors or scientists when they are young, but once they grow up they seem to put aside all that and all what they think is about their looks and appearance, about clothes, fashion and makeup.
They get targeted increasingly for their bodies. They grow more unsure of themselves .How can you be sure and confident about yourselves when you are unsure of your body itself?
If you are a bit stern in your job or character you are likely to b viewed as less feminine.
Slowly they tend to loose their souls and character and all the stress is on how you appear rather than what you are?
In the process we loose an active person who once took a wide interest in the world around her.
We come across many cases where girls are exploited by people even their near relatives.
So they face many restrictions and coupled with the stress on being appealing, they grow more and more unsure of themselves. They loose their confidence in themselves and they get reduced from being a person to just an aggression of hair, lips and the rest.
Let the parents not loose their daughters who once debated on issues with them, who lit up their homes with their laughter and in place have a passive, with drawn, unsure, diffident person, a shadow of the real self.
A girl needs a safe, secure place to grow up where she can be her real self. Let them not loose their souls and reduce themselves to just an aggression of several body parts, but see and value them as real persons both with soul and body.
